You Are Worth It!

I have good news...you are worth it!!

It just came to me today that the unmarried women of God have been lied to. The enemy has said that because of the past things that have happened in your life that you aren't worth having a wonderful man...God's Best. Why do I believe that this lie is working? I see it with my own eyes. Women, settling for less. They are settling for any man that comes that is interested in them. Why is this happening? Because they don't feel like they are worth it.

I think about the story of Esther...oh, if we could all be like Esther. She was patient through her time of perparation. She didn't become anxious because she understood that the preparation that she had to go through was a requirement in order to be considered as the queen. The Bible said it was a 12 month process for her, not including the time it took for the king to make his decision...WOW! I wonder what we would look like if we sold ourselves out to the Word of God CONSISTENTLY for the next 12 months? The preparation I'm talking about isn't about "looks" as in the outer thing...I'm talking about the "total woman"...the inner thing.

It fell on my heart today to blog about this. YOU ARE WORTH IT!!! You are worth the process that it takes to be the woman that God has called you to be. You are worth having a wonderful relationship with a Godly Man. You are worth it despite your flaws and the negative words that have been spoken over your life. You are worth it regardless of your body size. You are worth it despite any deformity you may have. You are worth it even though you were married before...no matter how many times. You are worth it despite how many times you've been rejected by a man. You are worth it no matter how many children you have (and no matter how many baby daddy's there are). You are worth being provided for...You are worth being taken care of like the queen that you are.

Come on women of God. Turn down the noise of your past. Wake up from your daydreaming of what could be because God is waiting on His Queens to realize that they are worth it. If you don't believe it, then neither will the king that you are waiting for...hmmm!

So Esther was taken to King Ahasuerus, into his royal palace, in the tenth month, which is the month of Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign. The king loved Esther more than all the other women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins; so he set the royal crown upon her head and made her queen instead of Vashti." (Esther 2:15b-17)

God, Your FIRST Husband

The amazing thing about God, our Heavenly Father, is His love for us. Years ago, when I first came to the Lord, I desired to be married. I wanted to be married because I was a young single mother and I desired a father for my son. I cried out to the Lord and truly asked him for a husband. Minutes later, I heard him say so clearly, "I will never allow a natural man to out do me". Being young in the Lord, I needed to sit with those words for a while because I didn't understand what He was saying right away. As I allowed those words to marinate in my heart, I realized what the Lord was saying to me that day.

The thing that I desire to shout from the mountain top to all of the unmarried women of God is that the Lord is our FIRST Husband. We must know His love FIRST before we can appreciate the Love of a man. How do we do this? By having a relationship with Him. It's one thing to talk to Him everyday (and that's a very good thing to do), but it's another thing to sit quietly and read His thoughts about you in His Word (the Bible). Our Heavenly Father desires for us to experience His provision for us; to experience His touch when we are discouraged; to experince our hearts to "pitter-patter" for Him before it does that for a natural man. Think about it, how will we recognize TRUE LOVE unless we Know love itself? God is Love.

We have entered into a BRAND NEW year...a new decade. I have heard the Lord say that He is waiting for His people to make Him their priority. We have cried out to God for husbands...we have been waiting by the "window" of life for THE MAN to find us...we have been charading ourselves around so we will be noticed...but I'm here to tell you that to have GOD'S BEST, God's Woman needs to know Him as her First Husband because God's best comes from God himself. When you seek the Lord FIRST...everything else you need will be added to you. Once again, God will NEVER allow a natural man to out do Him...can you trust Him to be your everything? I promise you that when you take the FIRST step towards Him and pour out your heart to Him, He will meet you. He will cause your heart to desire Him more than anything in life. He will cause your heart to settle in Him, until...
